The care I have received at UC Anshutz has been excellent...excellent staff and facilities...a little tough getting an appointment but worth the wait... In one experience, an MRI picked up a pretty big kidney stone in a not-so-good location. Had my spine surgeon not noticed I would have been looking at some serious kidney pain down the road!

Waiting periods are far too long. Had an appt today at 10:20. Didn't get called back till 10:50 then saw a fellow who was very thorough (wish i remembered her name bc she was great) but then she said Dr. Holzmier was going to come in. I waited another 15 mins and he never came and I ended up walking out. A 10:20 appt shouldn't last 1.5 hours. This was my first time with him as my doctor moved so I was frustrated I never even met with him. Will be going back to Childrens for my care. I understand these appts are very routine for the docs but they are a significant part of our life for CHD patients. Specifically as a new patient just thought I would get a better impression.
