We had to rush our 2.5-year-old Boston Terrier to VCA Veterinary Specialists of the Valley + Emergency Service after an ulcer in his eye suddenly ruptured. Their emergency team took us in immediately and cared for him with compassion and professionalism. Although the visit was quite expensive (as most emergency vet visits are), we're grateful they were there when we needed them most. The staff was knowledgeable, kind, and kept us updated throughout the process. I did request that they trim all his nails while he was under anesthesia. Unfortunately, I was disappointed to learn they only managed to trim three paws, which suggests they tried while he was awake and he resisted. This is why I asked multiple times for it to be done while he was fully sedated. Overall, thank you for taking such good care of our pup when he needed it most. I highly recommend them if you ever face a pet emergency.

We got a massive shock this year when our 3 year old cat was suddenly diagnosed with aggressive lymphoma. We started treatments with Dr Jeon and were under VCA's care until August. Dr Jeon and the staff were beyond kind in every way. He would literally find us as we were about to leave the parking lot when he had thought of another idea we could try for treatments. That's how dedicated, knowledgeable, and compassionate the entire team was. While we unfortunately lost her in August because the lymphoma was extremely aggressive and resistant, Dr Jeon did literally everything possible and gave us 6 precious months with her against all odds. I think of the VCA team every day, and I am so grateful for everything they do. As someone that sat weekly in that lobby for 1-3 hours during treatments, I saw countless other cases enter and witnessed the care and expertise VCA had with every one of them. I am forever grateful to them. During her 6 month battle with cancer we were in numerous vet offices, and of all of them, VCA was by far the most supportive, understanding, and truly incredible.

MANY OTHER REVIEWS WITH THIS EXPERIENCE! I suggest you look for them and read them because they're true. It's been weeks and we still haven't received our blood work results. We kept being told a doctor would call us back and they haven't. We had to have our dog euthanized because she was suffering.... WEEKS. This place is horrid. We want our results NOW. Edit: while writing this review I've been on hold for 20 minutes at 7:30am....

Friendly but didn't seem interested in treating my pet. Checked in early with no pets in lobby and was told switch over time from night to day so 3 hour or so wait because the doctor had to exam the pets already there. After an hour and a half of waiting in exam room I left took my pet elsewhere where she received fluids and a shot and got excellent care. They seemed not to want me to stay. When I left the lobby was full. How they are going to service all the pets is beyond me. They were closed down awhile back wonder if poor service and pet care had anything to do with it. I would try somewhere else before going to this place. Unfortunate because they are close by.

This review is for Dr. Topmiller and the techs who assisted us with the very difficult decision of saying goodbye to our senior dog on July 8th. She was suffering from a rare and aggressive autoimmune disease, and we initially only came in that day to get a consultation. We did not expect to receive that dire prognosis, the same day. Dr. Topmiller was extremely thorough and very empathetic to our situation. The advice and knowledge we received helped us make peace with letting her go. Preserving our loved one's quality of life was our utmost priority. Thank you for keeping our Luna comfortable in her final hours, and for the handwritten card from the team. Our family deeply appreciates the care and professionalism we've encountered from this clinic during this time.
