Patient
As a nurse who brings my 85-year-old patient to UCLA Health Woodland Hills for appointments, I am deeply disappointed and frustrated with the level of service here. The doctors and staff consistently demonstrate incompetence in basic tasks. We requested a referral to a specialist, and they completely botched it - wrong provider, incorrect details - causing unnecessary delays in care for a frail elderly patient who can't afford to wait. Today, we arrived on time for a scheduled appointment and have been sitting here for over an hour with zero communication or updates. No apology, no explanation - just endless waiting that is exhausting and stressful for an 85-year-old. To make matters worse, it's nearly impossible to reach the primary physician. Phone calls go unanswered, portal messages are ignored, and there's no reliable way to get timely answers or support. For an institution with UCLA's reputation, this feels like third-world service - disorganized, indifferent, and downright dangerous for elderly patients who depend on prompt, competent care. I expected far better and will be seeking alternatives. Strongly advise others, especially those with elderly loved ones, to avoid UCLA.
