From his warm bedside manner, to his exceptional cardiovascular knowledge, Dr. Rafii does an excellent job - as a medical student, I felt at home while rotating with Dr. Rafii, in other words, he ensures the patient's and myself included, felt very comfortable as if we are at the comfort of our own home, listening thoughtfully to health related conditions with precise focus and compassion. Dr. Rafii's personality is also very great - he has a great sense of humor as well, and you can certainly tell that the connections with his patients is built with deep trust and sincerity. Furthermore, his practice revolves around the epitome of teamwork. Each staff member's role aims at meeting a high standard of care, for the patient, and each of their efforts contribute towards ensuring Dr. Rafii can treat each patient with the level of care that you look for when going to a medical practice. And lastly, Dr. Rafii is an excellent professor, he provides very honest feedback all aimed towards bettering yourself. I had the opportunity to observe a coronary catheterization procedure and Dr. Rafii took the time to educate me on all of the different views of the pertinent heart vessels, of the procedure, something that Dr. Rafii mentioned that he didn't have the opportunity until his residency training to be taught. As you can see, Dr. Rafii goes above and beyond, not only as a physician, but as an educator, for future students who also have the zeal to provide high quality compassionate care.
