Dr Gupta is a gem of a person, such a caring and understanding doctor. I have been to 2 other cardiologists here in Visalia who didn't seem to find anything wrong with me and Dr Gupta knew exactly what the issue was on my first visit. Me and my family members have been seeing Dr Gupta from the past 6 months and I must say we are very lucky to be seen and treated by him. The way he has taken care of my dad is just amazing. My dad who has suffered from anxiety and depression for so long feels so much better after being treated by Dr Gupta and his brother Dr Kumar in Porterville. Both the brothers have played a very important role in helping him with his anxiety. You definitely start feeling much better when you know you have doctors to count on, I am very grateful for the care me and my dad have received from both the brothers. The staff at Dr Gupta's office is great as well, very polite and attentive. I appreciate everyone there. Wonderful doctor. I definitely recommend him.

My boyfriend went to Dr. Gupta and the first visit was fine, not a long waiting period. The followup visit had us there for three hours waiting to see him. When I questioned the front desk I was told that this was "normal" for his office and his time was valuable (apparently, more important than us "regular" people.) The waiting room was packed! One hour is too much, but two and three hours is unprofessional and rude! It appears that whoever schedules his appointments is instructed to get as many patients as possible for a greater money making opportunity. That system is wrong!

Every time I bring my mother for an appointment we spend hours here. When we arrived this time there were 16 people waiting in the waiting room. One complained of the stress of coming here because of the wait. 2 others are planning to change to a different cardiologist. Last time I came anothrr patient was having a panic attack. Dr. Gupta was unsympathetic to her. I am told he used to take time with his patients and not overschedule. At 12:45 there is no reason 16 people should be waiting. Most of these patients are elderly. He may be technically good but I would not recommend him due to the lack of respect for his patients. This occurs every visit so no excuses will work

Dr. Gupta and his staff are the absolute best. He and his staff have taken care of my family's needs as well as my own. They are always busy because everyone wants to have Dr. Gupta as there specialist. He and his Staff always work hard to accommodate all of his Patients with the utmost proficiency and professionalism.

So Dr Gupta is my mothers doctor and as a doctor he is good, BUT his office is horrendous! She has been there five times since March 2017 and it is now late July EVERY time his waiting room has been packed people have been waiting 3 and 4 hours for their appointments. That is unacceptable each time she has had to leave and reschedule as she cannot and SHOULD not be expected to wait that long. Time to look for a new doctor!
