Patient
Dr. Sarmad Said put in a pacemaker with one of the leads unattached. I was in a tremendous amount of pain, it hurt to breath. During my follow-up appointment with Dr. Said he did not take the time to check the pacemaker at all. He got very defensive and told me my pain could be from any number of things, kidneys, gall bladder etc. When I reiterated that the pain began after the pacemaker was put in he just dismissed me and said it wasn't the pacemaker and to get a second opinion. Upon getting a second opinion, I found out that the pacemaker wasn't put in properly. I then had surgery to remove the pacemaker which resolved the pain. I learned that I did not need the pacemaker in the first place and that the doctor that removed it has been cleaning up Dr. Said's mistakes for years. What I did need was an ablation, which solved my problem. Dr. Said went from being nice before surgery, to hostile and arrogant afterwards. Worst experience ever.
