I've been at Community Memorial Hospital several times; many times in the emergency room and fewer times in the hospital itself. Everyone has always been congenial, concerned and shown great care in keeping me comfortable. The nurses, doctors and technicians work together to address my health issues, find the causes and treat the symptoms, as well as provide the best outcome for me. I'm thankful that my Kaiser insurance allows me to go to CMH, which is local for me, instead of having to drive to Woodland Hills, for care.

If you're in this, you're probably wondering what kind of car you would receive here. I'm actually very impressed with Care. Everybody here cares about their jobs. Does a good job. I have had the experience of going through a C-section delivery with my wife and taking her to the ER. I was especially impressed with Russ the nurse who was able to find my wife's fan on the first try. I was also impressed with Her surgeon, Dr. Gail Joseph, who performed the C-section herself without any complications that were significant and after the surgery, she prayed and held my wife. I was very touched by this and this place is a hidden gym of Ventura. Definitely reconsider if you're going to go to any other hospital, we have tried them all out, and this is by far the bestvery clean and the only thing is get your food delivered by Uber.

We had an awful experience. The nurses on the fourth floor were kind and gentle. We got moved to the sixth floor and we were treated horrible. My Mom was humiliated & treated super unkind by the head nurse and the other nurses in the room. We were moved late at night. Basically my mom was striped searched . My Mom is 89 years old. I can only imagine how they treat people when no one's around. I will now continue my journey to make sure this never happens to anyone again, you can be book smart and get a degree but to be a good nurse, you need to be kind, patient and have some empathy. If not, you are in the wrong field you need to be in a different field. I am a cancer survivor I've had colon cancer. I've had lung cancer. I've had a blockage. I've been in the hospital numerous times I've been in St. John's. I've been to cedar Sinai and never have been treated like that. Every nurse was kind, gentle and caring. There needs to be a major change at this hospital.

We love this hospital and the ER doctors, nurses and staff are doing above and beyond their duties. You really feel that they care. We live 21 miles from this hospital but always prefer this hospital especially their ER than any other hospital. Thank you CMH for taking care of my husband. We need hospital and ER who really care for their patients like CMH.
