Being a good doctor requires a combination of strong medical knowledge, excellent communication skills, empathy, and a commitment to lifelong learning. It also involves professionalism, strong work ethic, and the ability to work well within a team. I would carefully rethink your medical physician when coming to see this heart doctor especially if you value your heart. His bedside manner is poor choice . AS well as how he decides to ethically handle his patients regarding when considering morals (big phrama vs what actually matters our lives / everyday risk assessment of medicine in our lives, good nutrition balanced diet and balanced Exercise overall in lifestyle.
He chooses the later of what matters and opts for what fills the pocket it seems and tells most patients to leave his office of he sees fit not try to help them. Sad, because karma does reaeits head eventually.

My experience with Dr. Duber, DO, FACC is as follows:
it took over 2 months to see this doctor. I had my appointment yesterday late afternoon. I was invited back into Dr. Huber's office. The room looked like an old attorney's office from the 70's. It smelled musty and old. Dusty trophies and endless pictures. The doctor had many accolades on the wall to my right. You would be hard pressed to find a new spot for his 'Bedside Manner's' award.
He came in, sat down and started asking me questions about why I'm there. I gave him my medical history. I handed him my heart stint card...he noticed the doctor's name who put the stint in my heart and said, "Dr. Paliwal put your stint in? "Watch out", Dr. Duber said. I was stunned that he would disparage my surgeon like that. How unprofessional of him to put down the doctor who saved my life!!
Then he had me go into an exam room where the medical assistant gave me an EKG. Dr. Huber came in to finish my exam. Everything looked good and sounded good. We went over exercise and nutrition. He said, continue with my medications. Then he started to talk about cholesterol medication. I told him I wasn't interested in statins. I have heard really bad things about it. There are very bad side effects. He sat down and took an artery model from the ledge and started explaining why statins are good. It provides a collogen effect on the artery wall, preventing plaque. So, I said to him, "So what you're saying is that I can take collogen, eat right and exercise then?" He said, NO! I then said to Dr. Huber, "Let me ask you a question, I have read that some doctors receive a financial benefit from pharmaceutical companies, are you getting any financial benefit for prescribing statins to your patience? He stood up and said, "You can find another doctor!" I said, "Really?" He said, "Really, find another doctor!" Then I asked him, "Are you NOT going to answer my question?" He shook his head no, as he walked out of the exam room. Then I said, "I guess you answered my question!"
Why do I have to find another doctor because I asked a question about this doctor's motives?! Let me educate you...
There are 5 reasons NOT to take statins.
#1. They do NOT lower your risk of heart disease, heart attacks or strokes. Based on the statistics of Relative Risk Reduction, Statins reduce the risk by only 1% of the population. This is why people who take statin drugs, STILL have heart attacks and strokes!
#2 Increases your risk of a major disease, cancer from long term use. Significantly increases breast cancers & prostate cancer in men! Diabetes. Over 50% of people who have heart disease have elevated glucose and blood sugar levels. So, the irony is that the statin drugs will indirectly increase your risk of heart disease by increasing your blood sugar levels. Statins also cause neurodegenerative diseases, Alzheimer's, Huntington's and Parkinson's. Stains also cause musculoskeletal disorders. Statins also cause cataracts.
#3. Statins deplete important nutrients from the body. CoQ10 and K2 are vital.
#4 Liver problems & toxicity. Drug induced liver injury. This accounts for a whopping 57% of all statin related adverse drug reactions with deadly consequences.
#5 Natural alternatives already exist in nature. Nature already has the answers NOT pharmaceutical companies. Dr. Duber had already told me healthy eating and exercise is the best choice before he pushed the statins on me.
Finally, every patient has a right to refuse. Refuse procedures, tests and medications. Patients also have the RIGHT to ask physicians ANY question and go over any concerns. Doctors should never be motived to push any drugs on patience because of a back door financial benefit from pharmaceutical companies. I highly suggest you never take statins, ever. The risks outweigh the benefit. All doctors need to explain any and all side effects and risks of any medication. Dr. Duber is at his core, not a good doctor. There are no accolade hanging on his walls that determines his ethical and moral abilities.

Thus far it's so so. Im not thrilled about the long appointment space outs. The office staff is so rude and full of excuses to why it takes long to get echo results. Many cardiologists have alot of patients yet do not take over a month to get a echo read! This dr didn't take my family history correctly or seriously after he was upset that my pcp was a clinic office and not a direct one on one. His demanding information in a rapidly fire way was shocking! On my next appointment if things change I'll update my review. Thus far in 4 communications these interactions with the office hasn't changed.

I went for stress test and heart photos, my appointment was 12 pm , I got out close to 3pm
Very slow process, the heart photo technician was deliberately make me wait and taking people ahead of me... never go there. They planted needles in my hand and made me wait in the lobby for more than 2 hours.
They are not friendly people. The technicians socialize and chat in front of the patient. Not professional people.

I've read some negative reviews here and most of what I read is because patients get their feelings hurt. Dr. Duber is one of the best if not THE BEST cardiologist in Inland Empire or surrounding areas. He was an instrument used in saving my life from a widow maker heart attack I had 13 years ago. With his quick response and expert ability he was able to perform with precision. Today I can say I'm in great health and live a normal active life style. He wont tell you what you want to hear but he will tell you what you need to hear. That's what I need and want in a doctor, the truth. Yes, the office is really busy so come prepared with your questions written down so you can get them answered. It should go without saying, if this doctor has so many patients and is so busy there is a reason why.
Stay heathy!
