This medical group is first rate. Very professional, highly rated, caring and kind. Their staff members were helpful, friendly and supportive. Alice Costen was especially reassuring and kind. She made me feel at ease right away. I am happy to highly recommend Synovation Medical Group in Torrance, confident that others will experience the same great care.
I had a good visit, but appointments are to far apart. I was seen on 11/12/25. I needed a two week follow up appointment. I was given an appointment for 12/18/25 and was told that I could not any pain medication until then. Not please with this system. I have never waited this long for a follow up appointment. I think Synovation Medical Group has changed hands, and I am not pleased with the changes they have made. Maybe the extended appointment times are because of the Holidays? BUT I DON'T LIKE THIS NEW SYSTEM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Front office staff were very welcoming. Everything was good , except appointments were scheduled too far apart. My initial appt was on 11/17/25 for consultation re: my mri and xrays results - severe pain on my lumbar area. Appt for an epidural injection was scheduled for 02/26, which is 3 1/2 months away. So it means I have to suffer in pain for that duration. I am sure referral for authorization w/ my health insurance will take 7 to 14 days . I wonder why can't I be scheduled sooner. I asked the staff doing the scheduling. She just smiled .
Hi... I actually really like Synovation Medical Group. Dr. Costen is always kind & professional with my needs and her recommendations. The Front Desk Staff has always been kind and nice at my visits. They are amazing on the wait time, and I REALLY love that.. I like Synovation, and I Pray with their help, I can overcome my issues. So Far, So Good..
Had a lower back nerve ablation procedure. Unfortunately, I have had this procedure done numerous times at a different doctor. Wasn't bad, but I didn't have anything to compare it to. This was so different. Not intrusive or uncomfortable at all. Things I had experienced at my previous doctor. The procedure was efficient and it took less than 15 minutes. So far I am experiencing no pain or discomfort.
