A true gem! From the minute Dr. Bauer entered the room he gave my husband and I his undivided attention. No computers, no adding in orders - a pencil, a piece of paper to jot down notes and 100% undivided attention! Dr. Bauer is a highly educated individual. You can tell he is passionate and he has incredible bedside manner! He's not the type of doctor that blows hot air up your ass! He took the time to familiarize himself with my husbands complex cardiac history and provided us with 'easy to understand' medical information. He told us what he expects, what he will do to follow-up to see if we're on track, and what he will do then if we are veering off track. Remember if the heart doesn't work properly then the rest of our vital organs will follow suit and begin to fail! Keep your heart in the hands of a cardiologist who is educated, knowledgeable with up-to-date practices/information but who has your best interest - and that's Dr. Bauer!

While it is frustrating to get a timely appointment with physicians in Core Cardiology, the appointment itself goes very well. The reception staff is welcoming, assuring and accommodating. The Medical Assistant performs screening questions and vital signs assessments efficiently. Dr. Bauer listens to my concerns and questions, explains anatomy and physiology of heart irregularities and how they pertain to me, and describes options for treatment in the near and distant future. He listens to heart and lung sounds and shares his assessments with me. He is a gifted physician and a true educator. We agree on a plan of care and a follow up date. I am blessed to have Dr. Bauer as my cardiologist.

All the staff are great. They are amazing with scheduling. Dr Bauer takes time to explain things in a way that you can understand and takes the time to answer any questions you might have. I love how well the office works together.

Doctor Bauer is an amazing person and Doctor. He cares about his patients. He takes the time to ask the right questions. He goes as far as following up with your primary Doctor in order to make sure everyone is on the same page. His surgery was precise and his follow-up is unmatched. We are so blessed to have him as my dads' cardiologist. Whomever is considering this Doctor, think no more. Schedule your appointment with him. A true blessing! We can only wish that there were more Doctors like him. In addition, had it not been for him, my dad would of had a massive heart attack. Doctor Bauer was proactive in avoiding unnecessary tests that would have put my dad at risk. My dad had such bad blockage that he had a stent placement. This Doctors' decision making helped save my dads' life.

During this teleconference, as always, Dr. Bauer went out of his way to explain the possible causes of my symptoms, as well as various options of care. He briefly stopped to review a test of more than a year ago. He listened to my remarks and took them into consideration. He spent far more time than I would have expected. No one need feel short changed by a teleconference rather than in office visit with this physician. He is wonderful, either way!
