I've been Dr. Papanicolaou patient almost 20 years. I've had multiple problems through these years. He has been a brilliant physician, running the appropriate tests and using the results to suggest the proper procedure. We always discuss the options so that I understand was going on. I always follow his recommendations. He's a true professional, kind, smart, talented, and always up to date on all things medical. I'm very lucky to have found him!

I have been a patient of Dr. Papanicolaou for a number of years. He is well versed in the latest advancements in his field, and he has answered all my cardiovascular questions with detailed answers that were easy to understand. His staff is very competent, and I have never waited long for my appointments. I have completed a stress test and have an implanted cardiac monitor, and the doctor thoroughly explained each before the procedures.
Having worked and consulted with thousands of physicians over the past 35 years, I can say Dr. Papanicolaou is one of the top physicians, thinking through how best to set a treatment course that takes into account his patients other health issues. He is personable, very knowledgeable, and highly skilled in the performance of procedures, including angiograms. One of the best.
BEWARE Dr. Papanicolaou is OUT OF NETWORK with UHC. We had an appointment last year to refill prescriptions, and are just learning Dr. P is NOT in network. At the time of my husband's appointment he was told Dr. P accepted UHC - but the receptionist failed to mention they're out of network. It's a big difference! Now asked to pay $200 for the visit - and do not appreciate it. Will not return. Otherwise, we had met our deductible and out of pocket and would have paid zero!
