Dr. Michael Vargas

My mother likes the Dr so far, the staff? They are rude and disrespectful. Our first appointment was for 3pm. I made the appointment and repeated it. We get there and wait, and wait, and wait. Watching other patients come and go. We ask about our 3pm appointment and we're told it's for 3:30. And told that quite rudely by the blonde girl in the back. When mom got her monitor put on last week. The same blonde girl put the device on her and handed her the box and gave my 85 year old, technology illiterate mother absolutely NO instruction on how to use and charge the device. Shame on you lady. Dr Vargas. You desperately need a staff change. I will be joining her on all future appointments to make sure she is treated with respect and dignity by your staff. And they will hear about it immediately if they don't.

This office staff especially in the front are pure HEARTLESS, they constantly make Dr. Vargas office a regrettable choice for me. I love the doctor but I've been there many times, yet 1 time I did not have my Insurance card they cancelled my appointment & today I was 10 min. Late because of a motorcycle died I had no signal, I was there for results, I feel very sick, I begged them, some lady comes out of the back tells the girl, NO WAY, she wanted me to hear it. Karma to all those ladies that just don't care, shame on you, it's bad enough I don't sleep from fear for results, now I have to wait we eekks

My GP recommended Dr. Varga for a cardio work-up. The first appointment went well. My next appointment would involve having a monitoring device was applied to my chest in an attempt to provide live stream data for a period of a week. I arrived for the appointment and the device was adhered to my chest. The adhesive "lost its grip" after a few hours while I was at home - not a big deal...however, resolving the problem was. After leaving multiple messages over the course of the next few days I did not receive any return calls to schedule a "reinstall". Five days later the call came when I was on the phone. I called back as soon as I finished the call and was put on hold for 54 minutes. The person scheduled an appointment for Friday at 10 am. I arrived and was seated in the waiting room. Two patients came in after me and then were seen before me. After a third patient came in 40 minutes after me and then was called in 10 minutes after sitting down - I asked the nurse what was was going on. The nurse looked at her sheets and could not find my name. I just left. Apparently, my time and situation seems to be of little concern. Return calls and seeing your patients in a timely fashion are not a priority at this office. I will need to find another cardiologist.

They never answer their phone!! Ridiculous They say lunch is 12-1 but it's now 2;30pm. And no answer or recording! Do better

I have been seen here several times, and I appreciate the care and concern of the entire practice. I feel like they listen to me and treat me as family. Dr Vargas is wonderful, as is his NP, Nancy.
