Patient
It is difficult to schedule an appointment at this office. Whenever I call into the office, I am on hold for over 30 minutes. The wait time to actually see the doctor has averaged a hour for me. I had an in office procedure done last year. Dr. Stenzler walked into the room and did not greet or acknowledge me. He asked one of the nurses what procedure he was doing to me. He was not able to do the ablation, so I was scheduled for another appointment. The next time, he did not acknowledge me either. He had to be reminded by the nurse that he was doing an ablation and that the previous attempt failed. I was referred to another doctor in the office. I was finally able to schedule another ablation, ONE YEAR later. This procedure was scheduled for the first week in March. I had to call the office twice the day before to have them submit a prescription that I was supposed to take the day of the procedure. I called my pharmacy and the prescription was never placed by the office. I called again the morning of the procedure and they said that they would call me when the prescription was called into the pharmacy. A half hour later, I received a call canceling my procedure due to not receiving prior authorization from my insurance. I called my insurance and Pacific Heart and Vascular only submitted the paper two days before the scheduled procedure. I will not be using this office again. I have submitted a grievance against them with my insurance and am in the process of a formal complaint with Adventist Health. The staff at this office are extremely incompetent.
