Been going here 7 years. Best dr office I've been too. Efficient, friendly, diverse and accepting for my trans affirming care. Wait times during the before and after an appointment can be a little long but definitely this is a gem for the lgbtqa+ community who can't make it to LA for lgbt care.

I travel a few cities to be seen at this clinic because they are kind, knowledgeable, professional, and recently they've added their own lab. They are the only LGBT+ friendly clinic I've been to. I appreciate that to the max as a lot of clinics in Ventura County aren't trained to properly care for LGBT+ folk. Evolve or repeat, as this clinic continuously evolves in the absolute best ways. The staff here will listen to your concerns and help you in every way available. I hope they continue to grow and hopefully other clinics use this place as an incredible example on what superb care is supposed to be. ** P.s. they give out free condoms & lube, even if it's not your primary case facility. Ask nicely.

Nice people, but you're unlikely to have appointments that fit your own schedule unless you want to be seen a month later... Which isn't possible if you have any urgent medical needs.

Santa Paula West's Staff and medical providers have consistently gone above and beyond while providing my medical care for several years through their Pride Clinic. My original provider, who left last year, was absolutely the finest provider I've ever seen across the 5 cities I've lived in and my current provider, Dr. Donaldson is almost as good. I appreciate his honesty and our easy conversations about my health needs, including the pros/cons of treatment, compared to the more formal, "lectury" discussions I've had with some providers in the past. Santa Paula's office staff, who inspired this post a few minutes ago, is friendly, accommodating and, have gone above and beyond when insurance issues have arisen over prescriptions, including one they helped with today. There are many good provider choices in Ventura County and it's hard to wade through all the reviews, but you won't be disappointed in SPW.
