Stratford Health Center

I've had to threaten to sue them twice to get any service. First of all I want to say that the surgeon, Dr Mansoor was excellent. Wonderful bedside manner, very knowledgeable and obviously I'm alive to write this review so also very competent. Unfortunately all future patient follow up was awful. First of all they kept pushing my follow-up appointments 3 months into the future. But they did so repeatedly. Finally I requested to be referred to another cardiologist which also never happened. I was never referred to anyone instead I went to my general practitioner in got a referral. They are amazing! I never have to worry about my appointment being canceled. However it's been 6 months and this Stratford Health Center has failed to send them my records. At this point I have reached out to my lawyers for legal counsel. My recommendation is let them save your life then run as fast as you can to another cardiologist for follow-up treatment.

Normally I don't have problems with this office, but recently I had an appointment scheduled and a week prior got a call that it had to be rescheduled. I called back and they informed me they moved my appointment 6 months out! When I asked why and if I could be seen sooner because I had a referral, the woman responded in a very condescending tone! I understand the doctors are busy and the receptionists are only doing their job, but please understand that it is also frustrating for the patients who already have to navigate the health care care system here and have to wait 6+ months to be seen!

Unacceptable, garbage-tier office staff and patient coordination. (Medical staff have seemed very nice and knowledgeable, so they're not included in this issue thus far) I had a follow-up appointment on the books 3 months after a scan, my appointment day arrives without any prior automated reminders/confirmations, so I try to call and confirm it's actually today before driving from SLO (appointment is for 9:45am, so time is of the essence for me). They say they start taking patient calls at around 8:30am, but that is an outright lie. After being put on hold for over 30 minutes, it turns out the person I'm seeing ISN'T EVEN THERE TODAY, AND THEY WILL HAVE TO RESCHEDULE ME OUT AN ADDITIONAL 2 MONTHS. This is absolutely unacceptable coming from an office-sourced error - I'd be understanding of that timeframe if it was because *I* needed to reschedule on my end, but not because of something 100% caused on the office's end.

If there was a - I would rate it that!! I had an appointment 6 weeks in advance. 2 days before I get an email to register for my appointment only to find out my appointment was changed without my knowledge. Now they want me to wait another 4 weeks. No thanks. I'll find a Dr that communicates with their patients.

It was a pleasant trip. Very easy to find and there was available parking. Two receptionists were available to assist. Plus, my mother got great news. I would suggest maybe a bigger sign to identify the building.
