Anthony C. Sturzu, M.D.

Dr. Sturzu is very thorough and knowledgeable heart specialist. He takes what ever amount of time to explain so you can understand what is happening. He also keeps current with new techniques and information that is available which is vital in diagnosing an issue. He saved my life with his perseverance and follow up on a EKG that did not look right even though I had no symptoms. I cannot thank him enough.

I have been a patient of Dr. Sturzu for quite some time..many years. I think so highly of him. He's a great listener and explainer! I feel quite blessed to have him as my cardiologist.

My visit with Dr. Sturzu was a yearly check up. After checking my vital signs, he was satisfied that my heart was doing well. He did caution me to check my pulse a couple of times a week to make sure it is regular and that I am not developing Afib. A health care worker was observing my visit and at one point he asked me to describe my physical therapy exercises to her which I do every morning except Saturday. He seems to feel those contribute a great deal to my good health. Anyway, he was content with the state of my health and asked me to return in a year. On a personal note, the doctor is very friendly and outgoing. No one should have any difficulty relating to him.

Dr. Sturzu remembers me, or at least reviews his notes before he sees me, so we don't waste a lot of time. He's thorough and really well-schooled in his art. He put me on three different blood pressure meds, each with an anti-migraine property, so I don't get migraines anymore. That is, frankly, unexpected and wildly superior. He's much more than satisfactory!

As a retired cardiologist, I have a unique background to comment on the technical and data driven expertise as well as the genuine human interest Dr Sturzu demonstrates during interactions with both my wife and myself. Both of us greatly appreciate his communication skills and responsiveness to our needs. Fortunately for me, he is young enough that he could not have been a competitor while I was still in practice.
