The doctor himself is absolutely amazing knowledgeable, kind, and truly cares about his patients. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about the office staff, especially Yajaira and the front-desk team. Our experience with scheduling and communication was extremely frustrating. It took them forever to notify us that the authorization was approved. Then, on the day of the procedure, when I called to ask for an update, I was told, "Oh, your dad had his procedure today!" -- which was shocking because no one informed us and I was calling whole week to get an update ! After I complained, they rescheduled and confirmed Thursday. I even received both a voicemail and a notification confirming Thursday. On Tuesday morning, I called again, and they confirmed Thursday one more time. But later, the hospital called me saying the office staff changed the date to Wednesday without telling us at all. The doctor deserves all the praise, but the staff unfortunately do not seem to know what they are doing, and their lack of communication creates stressful and unnecessary problems for families. If you plan to see this doctor, just be aware that the care is excellent -- but the office staff can be incredibly disorganized.
