Afifi Alaa Y Facs

My surgery was performed in Anaheim, by Dr. Afifi. The anesthesiologist was Larry. Between both Doctors, I admit I was honored to have them opebme up and save my life. Dr. Afifi would not give up when my heart did not restart, and eventually it did so. Upon my awaking, I was pleased to return to my life with my wife and daughter. I appreciated how compassionate the staff was, and especially how Dr. Afifi was with me. When he informed me that I needed surgery, he did so straight and honest, and I really appreciated his demeanor when he delivered the pros and cons of the surgery. He was direct, but assured me with great confidence, I would survive, since he had never lost a patient and I was not going to.be his first. Thank you to all those who have given me life. I want to thank Dr Afifi for his great work and dedication in saving my Father life after requiring an open heart surgery for a sever triple vessel disease, he closely personally monitored and followed up on him until discharge. Dr Afifi possess cutting edge surgical skills and calm demeanor that both together play a vital role in saving lives.

Dr Afifi and his staff are super amazing and caring. There are very professional and helpful. They all went above and beyond to help my husband. I almost lost my husband to an infection in his lung and Dr. AFIFI saved my husbands life. I dont know what we would have done without him. Dr. Afifi definitely deserves this 5 star review and if I could give him 100 stars I would.

Unfortunately I can only give 2 stars to this office, actually these stars belong to Elaina and Tammy. They were sweet and took the time to speak with me and returned calls as promised. As a potential new patient, I am looking for a vascular dr. Apparently he was closest to me, Santa Ana. He looked at my medical records and i guess it must've scared him. I have a AAA (Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm) without rupture, but he felt I should see a professional... hmmm, after reading his online profile, he fits the experience. So if you're looking for a thoracic/vascular dr, skip Dr Alaa Afifi, don't waste his time... or yours.

Just had surgery done by Dr. Afifi and she is absolutely wonderful. She was very thorough prior to surgery to the details on what would take place. After surgery Dr. Afifi was fantastic explaining what took place and what I should do for aftercare. I would highly recommend her to anyone.
