Children's Cardiology of the Bay Area

My daughter has been seeing Dr Griffin for over 15 years. We have had the consistency of Dr. Griffin, his wife and the nurse/receptionists as well. Consistent, thorough, and knowledgeable staff. Would definitely recommend.

Dr. Griffin is a very experienced and very caring doctor. Even when he had to deliver bad news, he was able to describe the necessary details while giving us the room to digest the information. With his guidance, we were able to quickly get intervention going. In our many visits with Dr. Griffin, he would always have the time and patience to answer our every question. Thank you Dr. Griffin and we will continue to see you as our little one grows.

We have been with Dr. Griffin for over 18 years now and would never go anywhere else. He is absolutely amazing and he truly cares about his patients on a professional and personal level!!! Everything is super clean and sterile and the staff is more like family than staff. We enjoy our trips there and commute from San Jose because it's worth it. I can't imagine my family's life without Dr. Griffin in our lives. They are amazing

The receptionist at Doctor Griffin's office provided an inadequate service. During my experience, the receptionist failed to notify me about a scheduled appointment and then claimed that she had contacted me when I missed it. She also failed to confirm my identity when she called to check the appointment and canceled it when she spoke to someone else who did not have the appointment. As a result, I had to wait for three hours to see the doctor. Furthermore, she exposed my medical information to a different person, which is a violation of privacy. The receptionist differentiated patients based on their insurance, which was inappropriate. Because I heard that she was saying that another person has medical insurance, I have medical insurance, so she treated me like that. She didn't even look at me in the morning and offered no greetings; I felt like a ghost or something, and she didn't say sorry for the miscommunication and didn't say goodbye at the end of the visit. A genuine human being will inquire as to how things are going. Do you need to make another appointment? or something like that; that's how it goes in medical offices. She should behave better than a little toddler. My child always greats with people. It is essential for medical offices to maintain proper standards of communication and confidentiality. While Doctor Griffin is an excellent doctor, the receptionist's behavior needs improvement. I am disappointed with the receptionist's service, and I hope that Doctor Griffin's office will take appropriate steps to address these issues.

Being a medical professional myself and a single parent for many years, I am very particular about my child's healthcare. Dr. Griffin is very good at what he does. From his very comprehensive assessment of my child, listening intently to MY concerns for her and what I've noticed going on with her, to his immaculate office and warm staff, his care is top notch! I even recommended him to a friend that's child has WPW, but when I did, she said the Dr. Griffin was ALREADY her child's cardiologist and she loves him! He is fantastic and I completely trust his knowledge, care and judgment!
