They never ever answer their phone. I drove six hours for my results to Bakersfield doctor that ordered my ECCO test to coastal Cardiology but they did NOT send my results to my doctor who requested the test. A wasted day. Doctor in Bakersfield tried and tried to get results by calling your office to no avail because your office NEVER answers their phone. I'm changing to a new Doctor sadly due to their unavailability to contact anyone. They gave me two extensions to try next time and no luck with this either. Don't need the stress.

I have been trying for months to get in contact with Dr. Hashmi's office for a POTS evaluation and consultation. The process has been incredibly frustrating, but the worst part was the receptionist. He argued with me on the phone for nearly 8 minutes, refused to transfer me when I asked, and was outright verbally abusive before finally sending me to the MA's voicemail. The stress from that call left me physically sick and in a flare-up. No patient should ever be treated this way, especially at a cardiology office where people are already vulnerable. He should not be answering phones or dealing with patients. Dr. Hashmi may be a good doctor, but the office staff's treatment of patients is unacceptable. I sincerely hope changes are made so no one else has to go through what I experienced.

Almost impossible to get a hold of ANYONE in this office. You are definitely just another number. The Cardiologist barely have ANY time for you. They are probably overwhelmed with patients. If you are having issues the best thing to do sadly is go through the emergency room!! Calling the doctors medical assistant is worthless.

Love some of the doctors at Coastal cardiology. I worked with many of them for 30 years. I don't know them all now, but the ones I do know are excellent. Their office staff do not call us back, however. I have called several times with no results.

I've never posted a bad review before but I felt extremely dismissed when seeing Adam Niku. He laughed and made me feel belittled when I told him why I was there because I am in my 20s and "I'm too young to have chest pain." He told me all of my symptoms were anxiety and will go away even though I've had pain my entire life. Now it's even harder to get help at my primary care since it is on file that my symptoms are "primarily anxiety." I still deal with chronic pain that has nothing to do with anxiety.
