About Dr. Caleb Thompson, MD

I completed my residency in internal medicine at the University of California, Irvine, and a fellowship in cardiovascular diseases at the Ochsner Heart and Vascular Institute in New Orleans. While at the Scripps Clinic, I completed a fellowship in interventional cardiology as well as a fellowship in Structural Heart Disease and Peripheral Vascular Interventions, receiving an additional year of formal training in transcatheter aortic valve replacement, Watchman left atrial appendage closure, ASD/PFO closure, mitral valve repair, and peripheral vascular interventions. My goal is to provide outstanding cardiovascular care to Bakersfield and the southern San Joaquin Valley.
