CVCA Cardiac Care for Pets

Would highly recommend Dr. Boorstin, Katie and Michael. We had great communication and keeping tab with my senior dog Polo. He got to live another year with great quality of life. My suggestion for pet parents who are going the extra mile to see a cardiologist specialist is listen to their advice and stay on top of bloodwork, medication and document your pets symptoms with timestamps and videos. It been a great pleasure working with them.

Dr. Boorstin is an exceptional cardiologist, and I am deeply grateful for the compassion, dedication, and care he showed my dog, Marmie, and I. From the very beginning, Dr. Boorstin communicated clearly and thoughtfully. He took the time to explain Marmie's condition in a way that was easy to understand and always made sure my questions and concerns were addressed. What truly stood out was how he went above and beyond in trying to understand and diagnose Marmie's complex issues. His attention to detail, persistence, and commitment to doing everything possible were evident at every step. It was clear that he genuinely cared. Most importantly, he treated Marmie with such gentleness and kindness, and he treated us with empathy and respect during an incredibly difficult time. Dr. Boorstin's support, professionalism, and compassion made an unbearable experience more manageable. I honestly wish he had been Marmie's regular veterinarian, as his level of care and communication is exactly what every pet and pet parent deserves. His excellence as a physician and his genuine care for his patients and their families will never be forgotten. We never felt rushed, dismissed, or alone in the process. His care extended beyond medicine, and for that, I will always be thankful and continue to highly recommend Dr. Boorstin. If you are looking for a cardiologist who is not only highly knowledgeable but also compassionate and dedicated, I cannot recommend Dr. Boorstin enough.

What a wonderful experience. Considering the difficult circumstances of our visit I feel very fortunate to have made my elderly dogs appoint at CVCA Cardiac Care in Capistrano. The doctor and the staff are amazing . I felt very comfortable with the kind and caring manner of all the staff. The doctor was amazing, he took the time to explain everything in detail and was happy to answer all my questions and concerns without rushing . I especially appreciated the urgency with which they sent the results to the surgeon working with my dog and taking the time at the end of the same day to call and share thoughts and recommendations for anesthesia and possible ways to operate with minimal problems. Dr Boorstin is the best! We traveled from central California to see him since he had the best reviews. We previously saw a different cardiologist and did not like the experience. Dr Boorstin and his staff were so friendly and were well versed his my little old man's medical history. They allowed us in the room for the ultrasound/echo and EKG. Dr made sure we left will all questions answered and we did not feel rushed. They really seemed to care about my boy and they seemed to enjoy their job. Definitely will recommend to anyone who is looking for a cardiologist that's treats your pet as family.
