My dad went here for a heart issue. After being looked at by Dr Hyun he received a bill for about $1,800 from his billing department that his wife Kathy is in charge of. She let my dad know that he was responsible for the entire amount even though he has 2 insurances. My dad eventually paid the bill so that Kathy would stop harassing him, but after speaking to his insurance they let him know that he should have been fully covered but Kathy entered the wrong billing code. My dad went back to let Kathy know what happened and ask her to make things right and after speaking with him and telling him that she would look into it she never did. My dad went back multiple times to talk to her and ask what was happening but she would refuse to see him and went so far as to stop taking his calls. In my opinion the Dr does a good job but if you ever have to deal with his wife Kathy who runs his billing department be prepared to be treated poorly and receive the worst and rudest customer service ever. DO NOT GO HERE!

I recently had a 15min consultation (referred by my PCP) and it's just talk and stethoscope check. No prescription or lab test was done but the doctor ordered an echo test in about 3 months. I was charged almost $300 dollars on this which is crazy. When I call them they refused to let me to speak to doctor or considered to lower down to a cost that is equal to the service level. They just blamed me on being a new patient and that's the cost of it, which is very unfair. I don't want to proceed with this office and folks please be careful! I'm now requesting them to provide the itemized billing with explanation of the billing codes (I guess the one they used is for complicated or >30min consultation). This is crazyyy!! Doctor you need to find better staff to deal with it!!!

Really appreciate the doctor; personable and good all around vibe. However, I was recently charged for what amounts to the cost of an appointment to have his office take a phone call from another doctor's office to confirm a procedure is fine to proceed. I guess this is the state of our healthcare: nickel and dime and milk every patient for every last cent.

As a 40 year old with congestive heart failure, I was scared to death having to consult with a cardiologist. Fortunately, I found Dr. Hyun. He is one of the most caring and compassionate doctors I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He takes as much time as is necessary, and is genuinely concerned about you and your care. His office is well run, with Judy and Carly in the front office providing top notch service. I am doing much better now, and have always been comforted by having Dr. Hyun and his staff behind me as I have navigated through the many ups and downs I have encountered over the years from my illness.
