I am in my second pregnancy and second time having been diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes and having to go on insulin to get the ideal blood sugars in the morning. I am a high risk pregnancy because of all of that and was referred to Dr. Obayashi for a fetal pediatric echocardiogram, despite being reassured by the high risk doctor there was nothing to be worried about; I was worried as I did not do this with my first pregnancy. Although I am in healthcare Dr. Obayashi did not know that and spoke to me in terms that anyone could understand and reassured my just as the high risk doctor that there was nothing to be worried about as my baby's echo was normal! Dr. Obayashi was very warm, polite, and had a calming presence with him that I was calm for the procedure and ultimately was cleared for my baby'd delivery when she decides to come. Overall, a very good doctor and if I needed a pediatric cardiologist, he'd be the one!

Dr.Obayashi is our kid's cardiology doctor for 8+years. We have been visiting him during these 8years even when we moved many times all around Bay Area. He kindly and attentitively explains and listens both patents and kids. He goes through situation and treatment in details which gives us confidence and calm us since it is about your LO and his beating small heart. His interaction with our kid is stellar. Our kid is always very comfortable and happy to go there everytime. I can't recommend him enough for anyone looking for peadiatric cardiology doctor. Thanks Dr.Obayashi.

We went to see Dr. Obayashi after my baby's pediatrician heard a heart murmur. Dr. Obayashi's office was over an hour away but this was the first available appointment and so we made the trip and I'm so glad we did. He is a truly talented, knowledgeable, and kind doctor. He explained everything that was going on thoroughly and eased any and all anxiety. He was very patient and gentle with us and with my baby. When we were recommended to go for a return visit and had the opportunity to see a more local doctor, we opted to make the drive to see Dr. Obayashi again. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing to see a pediatric cardiologist!

Dr.Obayashi was articulate and descriptive when explaining the analysis of my children's treatment. He was friendly and gentle with my children. He was confident and encouraging. His staff was kind and sweet. The office was clean and there was no wait. Our visit was a total pleasure.
