My experience with Dr. Accad was very pleasant. He answered all of my questions and was very polite. I have Kaiser insurance and my primary care Dr would only recommend pills for every problem I had. When it came to my high cholesterol he wanted me to go on statins which I have heard have many bad side effects. I asked to have a coronary calcium scan which is a inexpensive test to have to see if you have plaque developing in your arteries, this can help you to decide wether you need to go on medication. My doctor refused to refer me to get the test, so I went To Dr Accad and had the test done. Then he went over the results and clearly explained my different options for treatment. I'm recommending my mom go to him also

I am a physician, myself, and Dr. Accad is the only physician I will refer patients to in the entire bay area. He is a direct primary care doctor, who takes his time with patients and does the right thing for them, because he works for them not for the system. if you don't want to be treated like cattle, make an appointment to see him and get the right care for you.
