I was careflighted to UCSF from Renown in N. Nevada with a very low percentage of survival. I had a septic blood infection that caused my liver, kidneys & other major organs to shut down. On top of having a complete tricuspid valve failure & regurgitation of my mitral valve. I was in the hospital for weeks. Dr. Cheng & his team never gave me a reason to have a lack of confidence in them. They were ALL great! The staff at UCSF University/Medical Ctr were all fantastic too. Most of the time I couldn't get off of the bed & they were there to help me! I have to have another procedure done on my heart soon, & I'm going to have Dr. Cheng perform that procedure too! My confidence in him & his staff is so far above other interventional cardiologists. You can't go wrong with the physicians, surgeons & staff at UCSF.
