My husband in 1998 had multiple ablations by one of the finest electrophysiologist in New York, after consulting with him we decided that the next step was to go to UCSF to see Dr. Scheinman. Well, it worked and 20 years later he is still fine and medication free!
I looked for the BEST doctor in the world for my recalcitrant SVT. I found him at UCSF. After other attempts at ablation by Southern California doctors, I went to the inventor of electrophysiology. He looked at a very faint FAX of my ECG and knew exactly where my arrhythmia was coming from. He actually picked up his phone, told me to come up to SF, and that was the start of my freedom from this heart problem. It plagued me since age five. I had it done in 1997, and still free from those constant episodes of tachycardia. Thanks to this groundbreaking doctor.
