Beware of billing manipulation at this clinic. I had a $50 co-pay for a specialist visit. When I arrived, they said their machine was down and would bill me later since they don't take cash. Instead, I received a $1,100 bill in the mail. My wife--who understands medical billing--asked for an itemized bill, and we found incorrect codes and added hospital facility fees that didn't apply. They refused to correct the charges and even sent the bill to collections. I've reported the issue to the FTC. Please check your itemized bill carefully if you visit here.

The midwife that works at this location, Hope, is an angel on earth. She's extremely thorough, provides personal advice, and she's very medically knowledgeable. She's not pushy and she's friendly. I can't say enough good things - I have locations closer to my house but it's worth the 40 minute drive to see her specifically.

I went to this location to see a primary doctor for the first time for an annual checkup, supposedly preventive appointment, the doctors there don't even bother letting you about the out of pocket costs.UCSD is a scam, they've charged me $540 plus for office visit, when I contacted the doctor's office, she told me it wasn't a preventative appointment. I've already contacted a law firm team about this scam. Avoid going to this place please.

Do NOT go here. Deceptive practices with gross lack of transparency for what insurance covers vs out of pocket expenses. They told me I had to come in for a routine preventative check up prior to having blood work done and then charged me for a non-preventative office visit and refused to change it so I am now fully responsible for the stupidly expensive visit. They will not tell you what services are covered under your insurance so you have to spend hours on the phone back and forth between your insurance and their office to determine the actual cost of care. But they don't even tell you this, they just schedule you under the false pretense that if you have insurance it will be covered. I've also had them order me extra blood work that I didn't need or ask for only to later get billed for it because of course..it wasn't covered by insurance. Again, don't go here if you can avoid it.

I just feel like I'm not receiving the best care. My paperwork is always wrong and the communication is lacking... the people are friendly but I'm working to hard to care for my self because I always have to make a correction to my paperwork or constantly having to call and get transferred to various departments and getting no answers. It's hard to go through this being in so much pain Lord please help!!
