Patient
When I checked into urgent care, there were only two people in front of me. The wait time was posted on the wall, 35-45 minutes. I was told that was the time until I actually see a doctor. But, I watched four more people come in after me and were called back ahead of me. I was told by the doctor later, that the holdup was with my nurse, not sure why I had to wait so long. I also was not impressed with the care I received. I was dizzy, and the doctor explained that could be caused by a number of things so it's difficult to diagnose. The doctor was very personable and the care team was polite, but after spending four hours there, it seems like a waste of my time. I brought up to the doctor the fact that I was on an Antibiotic and asked if that may be the cause of my dizziness? She blew it off. But it turned out, that's what it was. As soon as I stopped the antibiotic, my dizziness went away. I was surprised that more consideration wasn't given by the doctor when I suggested that might be the cause, and instead, I had to wait for bloodwork, along with the other tests that were done.
