I use Perlman Clinic as my HMO provider under my Aetna and previously Anthem policies. I have never been happier with my medical care.
I consider them as friends.
Parking lot entrance is on 5th, on the left as you drive north from University.
You can use your phone number as your parking ticket and the Clinic will validate you for 2 hours of parking, so I get lunch in the area after my appointment.
You will not be disappointed in choosing Perlman Clinic for all of your medical needs. They have many specialties including dermatology, pediatrics, etc.

Start to finish the experience was way above and beyond. The process to register was easy, the appointments were available and the staff at intake and the nurse practitioner and the nurse assistant made me feel well taken care of care of. It's not unheard of, but delightful to find in any practice. Thanks for taking good care of me, especially far away from home!

After moving to Hillcrest from the Northeast, I had heard good things about Perlman and the walkability to appointments was a huge plus. I value my relationship with primary care providers, so I scheduled an introductory appointment with Matt Anderson so we can learn about each other, and for me to bring up some health concerns I had. From my first appointment, I felt that Matt could not care less about me or my concerns. At no point has anyone asked for any previous health history or documents from my last provider. I complained about a consistent cough and sore throat, he immediately blamed a medication I had been taking for half a decade and did NO physical examination. It wasn't until 6 months and an ER visit later that I learned I had both advanced strep throat and a fungal infection. That could have been caught a lot sooner. I scheduled a follow-up after my ER visit and Matt had no questions, was not concerned with the diagnosis, did not want to know what medications they had me on or what the treatment plan was, and seemed confused why I even made an appointment with him. This also happened after I saw a physiologist and was diagnosed with ADHD, anxiety and depressive disorders. He did not want to know any information and told me to just keep following up with that provider. For a primary care provider, I would expect them to want to have and keep general knowledge of my health. He cannot concern himself with that. Every appointment with him felt rushed, in and out in less than 5 minutes, like he can't get out of that room fast enough. I had gotten several obvious eye rolls when I brought up a new concern. From these experiences, any health issue I've had recently I just go to urgent care and don't bother seeing him, I know I'll get better care there. My health has actually suffered under Matt's care and I truly do not understand why he chose this profession since it's obvious from my interactions he doesn't enjoy this. Good riddance to Perlman as I work to try and find another primary provider.

Dr Lin cares about you. He spent time with me and listened to me and was clear and honest. First time I've felt safe, especially as a black woman.
Marcelle Turner is the best therapist I've ever been to. She's smart and patient and real.
Timothy Von is an amazing psych professional. He's younger but knows his stuff and very relatable.
I like this clinic I bc they have professionals available everyday. It's so organized and straightforward. Their prices are good as well.

I am highly pleased with Perlman and their great staff! My PA listens and truly advocates for my health journey!! There is a picture on the wall that reeds "Doctor, Friend, Advocate" and I truly feel that's what Colleen Brown, my PA-C is to me! Someone I can comfortably speak to regarding my health and how to improve it! Thank you, Colleen for assisting me in my health journey!
