The BEST! He and his team took very difficult A-fib/Flutter case! 2 other ablations failed ablations at non UCSD medical centers and Dr. Feld and team spent 6 hours, and they found the issue and got it!. After 10 years I am without symptoms. At 71, I run and swim. no stress perfect. Trust a friendly Professor and his excellent team. Someone is available 24/7 if you have a serious concern. They check regularly with me. Highest Possible life saving/ changing recommendation!!! THANKS

After reading several existing reviews, I decided to share my experience with Dr. Feld and his team. I believe the very low ratings I see here are due to a common sociological phenomenon: unhappy patients tend to be very vocal, while happy ones keep their satisfaction to themselves. This often results in skewed satisfaction scores.
Here I go:
For the last 15 years, I have been suffering from atrial fibrillation, and my condition gradually worsened. I experienced blackouts, chest pain, and had difficulty walking. Since 2018, I have undergone three ablations with no success. Finally, I decided to seek the best specialist and willingly waited for an appointment with Dr. Feld. He performed my fourth procedure, and my heart has not missed a beat since that day.
I want to note that while Dr. Feld appears serious and focused, I prefer a medical professional who prioritizes expertise over being overly bubbly. His team operated like a well-oiled machine during the surgery. Every member knew exactly what to do, and nothing was left to chance. I felt like I was the center of their attention. Although Dr. Feld seemed concentrated, his team was cheerful and engaging. Thank you, everyone, for your support during the surgery!
For those who prioritize having a "nice" doctor--whatever that may mean--it's time to be realistic.
I also want to extend my gratitude to Oskar and Edward, the overnight and daytime nurses. You both were fantastic!
My warmest regards, Victoria

If you're a veteran like me, please find a better option than Dr. Feld. He treats some patients like second class citizens. In my case, I had a positive medical test and he had no advise or further referral. I tried to book another appointment to better understand the results but his staff refused to book it and he refused to return my call. I wrote a letter to UCSD and copied the CEO of UCSD and to this day, he still has never called me. The CEO also failed to respond. I was fortunate to later find a cardiologist from another institution, who helped me. Overall, UCSD, what a disappointment!

Took 10 yr old daughter to see Dr Feld after she experienced some problems (palpitations/skipped beats)
with her heart while on Hawaiian vacation. He put her on a month long heart monitor. At the end, there were no detectable problems. He scheduled her to have a pacemaker implanted any way. Obviously, we did not return. We went back to pediatrician. She is now 25 and has never had problems. Should have reported him to Medical State Board!

Very disappointing, it took almost 2 month to my appointment and when I got there, I felt that they were not prepared for the visit, they even asked me "Why are you here for", in two month they couldn't even know the reason why I set this appointment?
There were no test requested, he base his diagnostic on my medical record. My concern was the results of a test last Nov, 2021, I explained them that when the Ejection Fraction was been done, the technician was having troubles with the machine, kept on getting big red "X" 's and he kept trying, also was on the phone trying to figure out what was going on. This did not make feel so good about this test and of course the results were very low, and E. Fraction of under 20%. Al I needed was a second opinion, apparently Dr, Feld does not like them.
