Patient
I don't normally leave reviews but infants and children are seen here so I hope this will help. For pediatrics this isn't a very welcoming place. The medical assistant seemed to be in a bad mood which I thought maybe I'm just overreacting but my mother noticed as well. She also seemed annoyed with my 20month crying and moving during the ekg but he was terrified. I tried my best to hold him down and showed him videos but it was very overwhelming for him. I understand it can be difficult but I feel like that should be expected in peds with children at that age. At previous appointments the medical assistants were kind and welcoming, they also tried their best to be gentle when taking off the stickers for the ekg. This medical assistant pulled them off quickly which made me upset because the previous medical assistants said taking the stickers off are a little painful for babies. I hope next time we get a different medical assistant because we enjoying seeing Dr. Arrington. He's very kind and tries to make our son feel safe. He was understanding that it would be difficult to get the pictures he needed but my son was able to be still during the echo. I think if you're working in pediatrics the attitude that you bring to work matters.
