Kanae Mukai, MD earned her medical degree from Chicago Medical School in 2009. She completed her residency in internal medicine at Mayo Clinic, and fellowships in general cardiology and integrative cardiology at Scripps Clinic. She has completed several subspecialty fellowships including: MRI at Duke University, as well as cardiac CT, MRI, Nuclear Cardiology, and echocardiography at University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). She has also completed advanced training in cardiac MRI at the University of Oxford and in cardiac CT at UCLA and at Johns Hopkins University.

OMG, Dr. Mukai is just A W E S O M E!!!! I just had an appt with her today (she was kind enough to allow my mom also in the same time slot so we can squeeze both of us into the busy schedule).
Dr. Mukai was very sweet with my 3 year old toddler in the stroller as well. I got a call from a different hospital about my aunt and I was about to ask them to call me back... but I was told it is better to do the hospital call and she waited for that to finish before we continued our sessions.
I have learned a lot from her and I very much appreciate all her help and kindness on each visit we had.
Her staff is always amazing too, they are always on top of things.
