Sandhu Charanjit S MD

I have been with Dr Sandhu for 10 years now. He is very quick to diagnose a problem and does not like to explain things in great detail, however, he gives the BEST REFERRALS to SPECIALISTS in town. He does not like patients to self-diagnose themselves. He prefers that you trust him, and honestly, he has sent me to the best surgeons and specialists for all my medical needs over these past 10 years. He is a good doctor.

At least 1 of the 5 star reviews on here doesn't pertain to Dr. Sandhu, but a different doctor and another 5 star review is from a family member. Definitely a 1 star doctor. Yells at patients when they ask for a referral and even other medical professionals know him and knows that he is not a good doctor. The other 1 star reviews are spot on. He should be ashamed of himself that he's in a profession that is supposed to care for people but he does the opposite.

He never asked why I was there. When I explained the nature of my visit and what I was seeking from the appointment he cut me off and became defensive. He tried to yank paperwork out of my hands and then told me I was expecting 'a Mercedes' when my coverage was 'a Honda'. I got upset at his remark and that threw him into a full-on tantrum. He stormed out of the room and returned to yell at me with his PA as a witness. After my experience (and reading his reviews which I wish I had done before scheduling), I now understand why he was available so much sooner than the dozen or so other doctors I looked into. Save yourself the trauma and avoid this man, he is extremely unprofessional.

Dr Sandhu has been my inlaws physician for several years. Always professional, worth the wait and is detailed regarding their care. What really earned the last star was how the doctor was out of the country but was able to communicate with his staff via email and made it a point to see them when he got back. His staff is also knowledgeable, Mary performs her EKGs using landmarks not by best guesses like most office staff. And no, we are not related lol.

Dr. Sandhu is like Teflon when it comes to patient care- everything slides right off him. He is not willing to take any responsibility with his patients. He always passes the buck and just says to go to the emergency room instead of actually seeing the concerned patient. He has not seen my mother in person in a year and a half. Returning messages is another major problem. At least he doesn't say that masks are useless like his PA does.
