I went to see this doctor for my cardiac evaluation as I have been having episodes of passing out (4 in last year). My PCP had ordered me an Echo the month before seeing him as well as a 2 week holter. When I got to my appointment he talked to me and said that normally it takes 6 months to get in to see the cardiologist and that I was lucky to get in to see him and that my heart problem sounds like an electrical problem of the heart and he doesn't deal with them. He said he was going to order an Echo for me to do in which I said I already had one a month ago and the results are in my chart. He looked and there it was. Then he had the nerve to ask me what the report from me wearing the holter monitor for 2 weeks showed instead of looking in my chart and seeing what it said. He made me feel like I wasn't worth his time to look at my chart before seeing me especially since this was the first time seeing me/my initial consult. He ordered for me to have a tilt table test done by another Cardiologist because he didn't want to do it himself. Worst experience I've ever had with a doctor and unfortunately I've seen a lot. I've now asked my primary doctor to send a referral to UCSF after the experience I've had.
