My husband and I have been to this Dr for nearly a decade. When Nicole worked there it ran smoothly because she ran the office and made sure everyone received the proper prescriptions when he would write them out wrong and she made sure it went to the right pharmacy etc. I started seeing a new Dr a year ago but my husband is still a patient and the last six months have been hell! He's had to deal with being out of his medication multiple times. He's received two week refills vs 30 days. The directions and amount suddenly change. When he calls and asks them to correct it it's like no one cares and he's treated like a problem. Even the pharmacy that knows us has commented and understood that there's a huge problem there. I've tried for months to get my husband to move to my new Dr but until now he hasn't wanted to out of loyalty or whatever to this Dr. he's now finally agreeing to the switch. A dr that doesn't care about his patients and only using them as a source of income should not be a Dr. He tells you that he only accepts private insurance and that he legally has to see you monthly and do random drug tests that you have to pay cash for but it's not true. Where I'm seen now, I see my Dr every other month and they care more about me having my medication and being healthy vs a cash payment. If I run out of my medicine because of a scheduling issue then they send in a partial refill. They do their best to make sure I'm taken care of and they accept all insurance. I'm not constantly messed w

Dr Bishara become old and lazy and forget to refill the medicine. You have to call him 3 to 4 times. Then you have to go there to get your refill.
You call him he will tell you I'll call you back I never do

He mad 3 appointment. To do my surgery while I am in the hospital. And every day they say he didn't come he's busy. I don't know how much money he make from him but that's really bad.

I've been seeing the doctor for 2 years now and it's been awful. I wish I could give 0 stars. This place is like seeing a doctor in a third world country. Its a money farm. The staff is the rudest and most heartless staff I've ever dealt with, in any establishment. They use various methods to swindle patients out of money. He gets you hooked on medications so you have to come back. There is a first time $250 fee then it goes to $150 for the following visits. $150 every 30 days, but they add a $125 "random fee". You end up paying it because you have to. Then, the doctor switches insurance providers every few months so these poor old people walk in to get their pain management pills and "sorry, $150, we no longer take your insurance". honestly I think they just say they don't take the insurance to get the $150. The patients end up dumbfounded why one week he takes insurance and the next they don't. I've seen people cry in the office because they couldn't afford it, but they have to pay. Then, the doctor pushes some run down no name pharmacy on every patient. Why? Because the pharmacy doesn't take most insurances and then they pay the pharmacy cash because they need the pills. I finally had enough when I saw this old lady get swindled out of $150 she didn't have when they pulled her insurance. She had to pay with 3 separate cards and was crying. They felt nothing. She sat back down and was called back up and they said "oh sorry. We need another $25 for a no show for yesterday. She said she called weeks ago to reschedule and they said it was no problem. Also, I've had my prescription sent to 5 different pharmacies. One was sent to Mississippi. I live in California. It was very difficult to get the prescription back to California and the doctor offered no help. When the staff says they will do something, they don't. And they lie and tell you your appointment was on a different date to collect the no show fee. There's laws being broken 100% in my opinion I. It truly is the most unbelievable thing I've ever seen and I feel terrible for all of the people he's hurting. Just to be clear, this is not just a review and then I'm done. I'm in contact with the bbb, and the California Medical Board. Unfortunately this is the most I can write on a review. I have 20+ more horror stories. Please get in touch with me if you want to know more truth. Stay away from this place. PLEASE!

I recently went to Dr. Michael Bishara's clinic and had a good experience. The staff is really professional and the wait time is very reasonable. Dealing with chronic pain and finding the right physician can be challenging, but he helped me get back on the road to healthy recovery. His diagnosis was effective and the care, treatment and follow ups really set me straight. Highly recommend.
