Patient
The people who own and are on the board team of the hospital, are complete trash and have no care for the community and their staff. However the staff 90% of the time are amazing and treat patients with compassion. Since quest closed I was FORCED to go to the hospital. First though ugh. I hate the hospital all they care about is how much money they can get out of me and my insurance. The guy who answered my call was wonderful and helpful and knew what I needed to do for my appointment. He also helped get me the best time to get my labs done so it didnt affect my work schedule. The day of my appointment, the same man was ever so happy and helpful. The nurse who took my blood was so sweet, gentle, and talked me through the whole process. Let me say it was at 6am I was getting these labs. I know as humans waking up to do there job at 530 AM is hard, but to be friendly and happy is also extremely hard that early. Needless to say, I love the draw station staff. Now if we could get the CEO and its board members to do the same. The hospital would probably have better reviews and a more encouraging community that would be willing not forced to support the only hospital within 100 miles!
