I spent 5 days at Sequoia Hospital in a room just opposite the 2nd floor nurses' station. I want to be that specific, because the care I had from that group of nurses and aides was so wonderful.
I am 81 years old and have been in my share of hospitals over the years, but my experience at Sequoia was the best, by far. Every single one of the people who helped me were consummate professionals, but even more important, they were loving and caring human beings who always had time to answer my questions in addition to taking care of my many physical needs.
I have told many friends of my outstanding experience and will continue to sing Sequoia's praises--they deserve it!

Excellent choice to have my surgery. I've had 3 surgeries total at Sequoia and each one has been great. From the pre labs/pre admission/preOp to the surgery table and the actual hospital stay...all of the staff are super nice. I haven't had one bad experience. It's also very clean and free parking. The only thing they can improve on is the hospital food. If they switch up on their food provider they'll get 5 stars from me.

The finest people in every department. I felt so safe.
You saved my life. One particular event always stands out. It was in the middle of the night and the maintenance man was polishing the floors with that giant buffer. I didn't realize it, but I was shivering and she happened to look into my room as he was passing. He turned off his machine and came in and asked me if I was cold and I said yes. He turned around and returned with a hot blanket for me. Who does that? Only the creme de creme.
