Anobel M Tamrazi, M.D. Ph.D.

Although I have not yet had my procedure, I did meet Dr. Tamrazi via a video call and found him engaged in my problem, sensitive to my needs, concerns and wishes. He certainly set me at ease about what I am about to experience. I am happy to have him on my team while I go through this cancer journey.

Dr. Tamrazi performed my thyroid and neck lymph node biopsy. I had several issues with this doctor. 1) I found him dismissive of my input and concerns. I asked him to evaluate specific area of my neck other than what he planned to probe already. In a very abrupt way he let me know that he knew what he was doing and even stated the diagnosis. He refused to check even with the ultrasound (already present at the procedure) the area of my concern. Year and a half later I still have problems in that area and I need further evaluation. 2) During the initial consult the doctor told me that during the biopsy he will stick me with needles about 10 times. Then he asked if I choose no anesthesia option, light sedation or general anesthesia. Having prior biopsies and some very unpleasant (involving less than 10 needle sticks) I chose general anesthesia. Turned out i only had 2 needle insertion sites afterwards. The general anesthesia was absolutely not needed, and I had a feeling he knew it. I would not return to this doctor.

This was my first time meeting Dr Tamrazi via Video. He was compassionate and caring and fully understood my health issues. Would definitely recommend him to others.

I have had the pleasure of being treated by doctor Tamrazi for a rare cancer. I would like to say he is the best, a doctor that truly cares for his patient's wellbeing.

Dr. Tamrazi is an excellent doctor: very smart, compassionate, and a good listener. I highly recommend him!
