Extremely happy with personal service and caring Dr. Chiong has provided our family. I called and left a message for Dr. Chiong's to call me back. He called back within the hour and we had a great discussion on our go forward strategy for my Dad's care. I sent an email later in the day with a follow-up concern and he call me back instead of emailing to ensure we had a great care plan. I really appreciate the responsiveness and caring Dr. Chiong is providing.my Dad in the memory care home and the family.

Dr Chiong is truly a great, caring physician. Like others who've written reviews, Dr Chiong is my elderly mother's doctor for the last 2 years. He makes house calls and sees her at home. He responds to my texts at all times and actually cares. In a time when most doctors priority is profitability, Dr Chiong is a refreshing exception to that rule. He cares about the patient FIRST. I highly recommend him to anyone.

I have been a patient of Dr. Chiong for only about 15 months, but I have been very impressed with him from day one. I needed to see a doctor asap, and was not having the success I hoped for. Before I was even ported over to his practice, he called me and told me to come see him at the start of the next business day. He has continued to be there whenever I call, and I am very pleased with the prompt and excellent patient care he gives. I look forward to a long patient/doctor relationship with Dr. Chiong. Dr. Chiong has been a visiting physician for the community I work at for 3 years. He has been very responsive to the residents needs and visits them frequently. Having a physician who is local and familiar with the community and residents is a benefit not only to the residents, but their families and staff. I appreciate that he is always there to help with any concern or issue and when someone is sick, he will take time out of his day to just drop by and check on them. Thanks for caring.

My parents are retired doctors themselves, so I am selective about doctors for them. I expect a lot of communication, professionalism and high quality of medical care, and I communicate quite a lot with their medical care providers. When I told my brother--also a doctor--about Dr. Chiong's approach to elder care, he was floored. "Do you know how very unusual it is to find a doctor who gives you his direct number and answers texts and emails within 24 hours?" he asked. With that kind of trust, I have tried to not take undue advantage of the privilege of access Dr. Chiong provides. (Doctors need a family life, too.) Dr. Chiong's approach of home visits is invaluable to people like me who have to work and also want to provide a great deal of support and care to parents in assisted living care. I have found Dr. Chiong to be compassionate, knowledgeable, responsive, and smart about referring out to specialists if his patients were experiencing something outside his expertise. He estimated exactly when my mother needed to go on hospice, patiently explained to me how he arrived at that conclusion and how her care would improve with hospice support, answered my many questions, and alerted me when the time was getting short so that I could prepare for the fact that I was going to lose her. He was transparent and ethical about his connection with the hospice company (Friendly Hospice, which, by the way, was also wonderful with my mom). I'm grateful to have Dr. Chiong and his model of elder care in our community. It also says good things about him that the assisted living staff have mentioned to me their respect for his quality of care for the residents he serves.
