Dr. Russ is an amazing doctor. Highly knowledgeable beyond his specialty and spends considerable time answering questions in a friendly neighborly way. I learn more about my body and issues in one visit than a years worth with my other medical providers. Medical assistant seems a little gruff but springs to life when you chat with her.

I seen Dr Russ today & had a pleasant experience. He was super nice & personable as well as thorough. I don't see why there's so many bad reviews. He was very sweet & would recommend him to anyone.

Horrible experience. The nurses had to convince him to show up. I had 99 percent blockage. He didnt follow up once while I was in hospital. He is refusing to see me for after care cause I'm a veteran. He doesn't honor va. I had no choice in the dr. they called. Also the care at Shasta regional is beyond horrible.

Dr. Russ and his staff were very pleasant and professional.
I was seen on time and didn't feel rushed. I felt he was a doctor who is thoughtful, caring and has a great since of humor. I trust him completely with my health.

Dr Russ is really, REALLY nice! He treated my husband & I very respectfully, joked with us, which put us at ease, especially after reading reviews that he isn't the nicest. One member of his staff is certainly curt but once we cut through the formalities, she warmed to us & also had a playful attitude. The woman at the front desk seemed quiet & possibly shy but my husband is playful & when she asked him to please fill out the new patient paperwork, he said, "well, since you asked so nicely, I'll do it". She gave him a big smile & was friendly to both of us.
The office is REALLY cold so bring a sweater if you're sensitive to that. Otherwise, it's clean & the Dr was able to see us fairly close to on time. We appreciated how thorough he was & took the time to explain, in layman's terms, what we were looking at & what his thoughts were.
I really can't see the negative reviews as accurate & wonder the validity of them. Everyone has an off day & we can all be perceived as grumpy from time to time but for so many people to say bad service from the staff & the doctor? We wondered if they were reviewing the same person we saw. We are both critical of customer service as it seems to be lacking tremendously today, so trust this review when I say the Doctor is truly a delight & the playful banter with his staff seems indicative of a positive professional dynamic that can't really be manufactured & certainly not fabricated on the spot to appease patients. I believe the office dynamic is fun, positive, & welcoming. We were glad to be there & for a quick prognosis. Thank you all for your individual roles in our experience. Not every office allows a plus one in the room. We both appreciated the policy to allow the patient to bring a guest. Enjoy your Christmas, Happy New Year & thanks to all again!
