Eisenhower Health

I was admitted to the hospital on November 15 with severe tachycardia. My heart had been beating 130 BPM for 10 hours. I was diagnosed with atrial fibrillation. I was in the ER overnight, and in the care of a wonderful nurse named Francisco Sanchez, who got my heart back into normal rhythm and saved my life. He was very skilled and compassionate, one of the kindest healthcare professionals I have ever dealt wealth in my 66 years on this earth. I'm enormously grateful to him.

*THE WORST BILLING DEPARTMENT EVER*. I have been getting harassed for months from Eisenhowers billing department for bloodwork that my insurance pays for. After going back and fourth for MONTHS, the issue was not resolved. I then decide to pay the bill without my insurance by using my personal funds. I paid the bill on the website provided on the numerous bills sent. After paying the bill I made sure to screenshot the confirmation number because I had a feeling that they will still send me a bill after payment. Guess what???...I was right! Here it is a month later and I just received another bill for the same bill I just paid! What is going on in the billing department? Now they are threatening to send me to collections even though the BILL IS PAID!!

I would give 0 stars if I could but I had a fractured rib for a long time that I didn't know about and I had gotten 4 x rays and 2 ct scans this year and they could not tell me what was wrong with me for about 6 months then I went to a doctor in Mexico and told me what was wrong after getting an xray there and started treatment right away but the pain meds (which I didn't need since there's other things that could have been done to help my recovery) that I was given here in the US ended up giving me stomach problems which is also being treated by my doctor in Mexico. I don't think I will ever trust any doctor from the US again especially because this could possibly destroy the possibility of my future career in the sport that I do. No apology would help what's already been done!!

Hospital is very clean. Parking is a little difficult. But they do have free valet which I took advantage of. There's no place to sit in the entry. So we had to sit outside on a planter. Which is fine, but if it was a very hot day, it would've been difficult.

I had some imaging done two weeks ago NOBODY called to say anything. I finally looked on MyChart and saw I needed additional imaging. I called and spoke to Sunshine I asked why nobody has called and asked to make an appt she was rude and disrespectful. She stated she needs my doctor to approve the additional imaging. I called my doctor and they told me they just got off the phone with her. My doctor stated Sunshine just called them and stated they need a signature to get the additional imaging. I informed my doctor she is only calling because I got upset that she wasn't doing her job. My doctor faxed it over I waited about an hour and called to schedule and of course Sunshine answered the phone and denied she got the fax. I said you have yet to receive any fax from my doctor. She stated if you let me tell my story. I informed her story is full of it she put me on speaker and gathered my information which is not OK!!!! She has the worst attitude and extremely lazy and incompetent. They need to find someone new since it sounds like she is the only scheduler. If it wasn't for the nurses, doctors and techs I would NOT be returning. Somebody needs to check her and train her better. They also need to get someone to make sure she is doing her job because she is making all the doctors, nurses and techs look bad. Response to the person who clearly don't know their employees or maybe Sunshine is the one responding. The IMAGING I HAD done was a MAMMOGRAM. MY review is in the right spot. Everyone knows Sunshine is the only scheduler for mammograms at the Lucy Curci building.
