This review reflects my personal experience with Dr. Patel. In my view, he carries himself with an attitude as if he's above being questioned. Any time I tried to ask something about my own health, he seemed irritated, dismissive, and genuinely bothered by the fact that I wanted clarification.
I also found his personality extremely difficult to deal with -- cold, unapproachable, and lacking any sense of compassion or patience. Based on my experience, I would not recommend him to anyone looking for a cardiologist who listens, communicates respectfully, and treats patients like people rather than inconveniences.

Worst experience I've had with any cardiologist I have seen. Lived in 3 different cities ....was taken care of at teaching hospitals in each city (admittedly, I was spoiled with all those resources and well credentialed doctors)......this guy has a the largest "god complex" I have EVER encountered. Staff are rude (this typically happens when they are unhappy by how they are being managed I.e. this doctor sets the tone).....please think twice before going to see him. I expressed my concern to my primary doctor about Patel and didn't realize that any doctor can read messages you send through "my portal"...Patel read my message to my primary doc and was incensed. He was so not interested in understanding my concerns. Instead, he dropped me as a patient because he said "our trust had been broken".... what was broken was is massive ego.
