Very disappointed! He implanted my pacemaker in 2013 and now refused to see me! I've had a TIA due to A-Fib and have been referred by my cardiologist for a 2nd opinion. I'm on blood thinners and she would like to take me off so I can take medication for my neuropathy. The women that answer the phone continue to say they will call me back but never do. I finally asked should I find another doctor and was told "do what you want!" Never been treated so rudely!
I've been trying to see Dr Duong for over a month. I have a history of heart issues in my family and I was diagnosed with AFib with RVR in January. My current EP wants me to be on medication, but I chose to go with a natural route of magnesium which seemed to help for eight months. I'm now experiencing continuous PVC's and extreme AFib attacks to the point of dizziness and I actually fell to the ground and couldn't get up, as my heart was so irratic and I couldn't catch my breath. However after Dr Duong looked at my records he deemed me not a good candidate for whatever the reason, as I wasn't given one. My issue isn't getting better, but worse and I know my current EP will only tell me to take Multac. I'm really disappointed in Dr Duong for not seeing me, strapping on a halter for 24 hrs so he could see for himself what's going on, or minimum calling me on the phone. There's something wrong with me, and I was hoping ablation would be something I could look into or another form of therapy. I also want to note that Robin, one is the office workers, was very rude on the phone and couldn't get off the phone fast enough after calling me to tell me the news. What kind of a Dr refuses a patient that experiencing progressing issues?
Dr. Duong is an amazing Dr. who treated my dad like family. The Dr. and his staff are very professional and caring. The Landeros family is thankful for everything they done for my dad.
