Palomar Health Urgent Care in Ramona is Excellent!!! Friendly, efficient front office staff, short wait time, OUTSTANDING medical care by George Knapp, NP, who is very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. He accurately diagnosed my problem and prescribed meds that worked immediately. I highly recommend using this Urgent Care for your medical needs.

We came here to get stitches in our daughter's knee today and had a wonderful experience. Everyone was so knowledgeable and friendly and Dr. George sewed her up quickly and neatly. The clinic was clean and beautiful. I doubt we will be back again as we don't live locally but would definitely recommend it to anyone.

This is a true 1 star. Outside of my general physician, the quality that was Arch Health Medical has deteriorated ever since switching to Palomar. It feels as though a few memos have circulated to alienate the patient base into moving to a different practice. My final straw is doing labs. If you visit this facility, then more and likely, you live in Ramona. So, you always had the ability to do your labs at this facility. Well, no longer. And like a silent fart, no warning given that you'll have to go to Escondido or Poway, not a convenient drive either way. They even could have told me they do not do labs there anymore when I called to get labs scheduled for an upcoming appointment, but no, that would have meant "thinking about the patient." So I take the drive to Poway, where I find another Palomar facility, which has a line lined up outside in the hallway 12 people deep. There is no standing room at all in the office. And a rude individual when asked, "About how long?" responds with, "can't you see all these others here, geezz, then something in Spanish and then 2-4 hours." Well, guess I'm not getting labs. Oh well, not like this cash cow cares about my health anyway. Good thing I have pretty good insurance, so I can change my main facility and not deal with anything associated with Palomar ever again. I'm pretty sure that they, Palomar, are going to close the Ramona office, why else would you treat your patients this way if not to get them to switch places so they, Palomar, can have a fictitious way to close the facility? Well, I hope this helps your decision to stay away from this facility and any other Palomar facility. And, if unfortunately you are unable to, then I wish you the best of luck.

Went in to urgent care with chest pain and was told to wait 45+ minutes later and at least 2 people take in before me the last one was also having chest pains that was there excuse when I asked. They did not cear even though i was asked by multiple people asking what I was in there for . Don't waste your time or hard earned money at this drs or urgent care, which is a joke . Go down the hill and see a real DR.
