Overwhelmed and cavalier about patients health. Rapidly changed blood pressure medications, leading to cardiovascular complications. Does not give enough time to patients during regular physical exam. Did not detect/address wax build up in ear, until the audiologist refused a hearing test. Arch health also has a very crappy online portal, medication lists, test results are not updated and readily available.

I had my first appt with Dr. Mamaril on 5/30/24. He appears to be competent physician - but overwhelmed! He told me he'd want to see me again in 3 weeks. The medical group (Arch Health) he's part of is having communication difficulties, and I've been unable to reach his office for the next appt for the past 10 days. I've waited on "hold" for periods ranging up to 45 minutes without success. The message says one can always come to their office to make an appt. Ridiculous! I just enrolled in SCAN Alta (he's a SCAN provider) effective 5/1/24, and think I made a big mistake.

Dr. Dennis Mamaril is harsh the way he comes at the patient Dr Mamaril Needs to be more caring and Sensitive with his patience needs . And some of the things he says come off very rude and Sarcastic . It's horrible the way he makes people feel inside . People come to you for help and you make them feel worse then when they came in . I don't like writing bad reviews but this doctor needs to be looked closely by the people that hired him at arch health medical group . You have many reviews of People feeling the same way so there's definitely an issue here

Dr Mamaril basically assisted the doctors at Palomar hospital next door in keeping me alive due to multiple conditions that surfaced while I was traveling overseas. I had him listed as my primary, but had only used him for a check up previous. After he helped fix all my issues, or at least maintaining them he became my regular MD. At times he referred me to doctors that became my Gastro, Cardio and Podiatrist. He was tough with me and I think that's his way. He likes his patients to take responsibility for their own health. I think that's where some have a problem, but you know what? That type of approach is a good one at least it was and is for me. His nurse, Edna also does a very good job.

After over 15 years with an Internal Medicine specialist in Carlsbad, I tried a local provider at Arch Health Partners for location primarily, but was really impressed by the difference in the care provided by Dr. Mamaril. Rather than just have me come back every 3 months for a co-pay and re-fill of Rx, he talked in depth with me about my health, lifestyle and how to "create a PLAN" for my healthcare going forward. He listened, and made the visit feel less routine than I'd become used to. Nice.
