Dear Pomona Valley Hospital Authority, I'm writing to express both my gratitude and concerns regarding my father's recent stay at your hospital. He underwent heart bypass surgery, which was successful, and I appreciate the excellent care provided by the CVICU staff. However, since his transfer to the Tele Ward, we've encountered significant challenges. When my father needs assistance, we often have to call multiple times, and it takes over 20 minutes for staff to respond. This delay has been distressing for both him and our family. A particular concern arose today when I noticed my father's hair was dirty and had dandruff due to not being washed for 20 days. When I requested help from a staff member named Lorena, I was informed that they didn't have the necessary supplies. I understand that not all hospitals may have shower head caps, but alternative care should be provided to maintain patient dignity and hygiene. I believe that most staff members are dedicated professionals, but the actions of some are impacting the hospital's reputation. Your institution deserves a 5-star review, but the inconsistent care in the Tele Ward is preventing that. I hope you will address these concerns and take necessary steps to improve patient care. Sincerely, Sam

Please read the whole review. 2nd part Thank you Alicia S 04/21/25.-The worst service I've ever experienced. They have no patient control, taking more than four hours to perform a scan. Instead of providing the service when the customer requests it, they let it go, giving them a document to sign, where they take no responsibility, and the patient leaves without a diagnosis or completed service. A second-rate hospital. They urgently need an audit of their staff, and if they're going to outsource, hire competent staff, starting with the front desk. If you need other review, no hesitate to ask me. 04/22/25.-Yesterday I had a terrible experience in the emergency room at the hospital. However, today, thanks to Alicia S. (who you'll see in the photos I'm sharing), she completely made my day with her extraordinary service. She should be promoted to hospital director. She did everything she could to get my CT scan done as quickly as possible. We need more people like Alicia with a service spirit who aren't there just for a paycheck. I applaud and acknowledge Alicia's wonderful service; thank God there are people like her. Thank you so much, Alicia. When I have my own hospital, I'll take you with me, lol. My new rating for her is 5 Stars.

We saw Dr. Ringer at Pomona Valley Hospital and he was wonderful. He is a very calm person and it felt like he had everything under control the entire time, which made a stressful situation much easier to handle. very thankful for his care.

My wife gave birth at Pomona Valley Hospital and was part of the Sweet Success program during her pregnancy because of gestational diabetes. Here are some pros and cons from our 9 month journey. Cons: 1. Sweet Success Program: My wife had to go through the Sweet Success program, and she worked with four different nurses. Unfortunately, three of them were very aggressive and not open to conversation. When we tried asking questions about the diet and how we could adjust it to better fit our family's lifestyle, they were really rigid and not helpful. It felt like they were just doing their job by the book--not actually caring for the patient or offering support. 2. Billing Confusion: The billing wasn't very clear. I'd recommend asking for an itemized bill to double-check what you're being charged for. If something doesn't look right, give them a call and follow up. If you push too much, they will send a warning mail that your bill be handled by third party collecting bureau company. Pros: 1. Labor & Delivery Team: The labor and delivery team was great. All the doctors, nurses, and counselors were super friendly, supportive, and professional. We really appreciated their care during such an important time.
