Patient
Saw her for a follow up today, I believe she should retire and found her unfit. Incompetent is definitely a word to describe her, she strikes me as a mediocre physician way past her prime. Her information was inaccurate, and the follow up was a complete waste of time, she was never able to go to the bottom of the reason or cause of the tachycardia, just pure speculation wondering if it might be one medication or another with no certainty, as I left the office I thought to myself, most doctors are mediocre and she falls in that spectrum at best. It's hard to get a great doctor, but when you do, you are immediately aware, and she's not it. ** there was also a registered nurse who saw her and posted a review on Yelp or here, who explained similar findings in this doctors behavior-- this doctor stormed out in the middle of the appointment, which I thought was not only peculiar, but extremely bizarre, it left me feeling perplexed, and wondered if I was dealing with a stable person? The nurse that also left the review was similar so it corroborated it, it's not that I thought I was imagining it, but it helps that someone you do not know, especially an experienced nurse, also reported similar findings to mine. I wish to be clear. This is not ageism, I do understand that a lot of doctors choose to practice beyond retirement age, and I'm not sure that's a good idea. I think we need to be realistic, we all get older and more forgetful, and the human body is literally some thing that functions less efficiently as we age. So, perhaps there should be a special testing to make sure that a physician, because we put our lives in their hands, is competent and sharp. It was brought to my attention. This position has been practicing over 30 years, and that doesn't necessarily imply that she should continue. There's a lot of different professions, where it might not matter, but you are literally putting your life in the hands of a doctor, their cognitive skills, their medical knowledge, keeping up with pharmaceutical medication's and dosing. I cannot assess this persons ability as a physician, but I can say, with all certainty that I have never seen any behavior like this anywhere else. It's important that I do not recommend her to anyone anywhere --in any way whatsoever.
