Thursday afternoon, I went to Kaiser Permanente in Petaluma to for some scheduled preventative care. All of the staff were exceptionally friendly. The ladies at the front information desk were excellent greeters and personally escorted me to my destination. I loved how friendly and helpful they both were. Thank you for the giggles. They made a chore more pleasurable. Please let them all know how appreciative we are to receive their exceptional service.
Dr. Kim was both pleasant, professional, and aware of my upcoming surgery. His examination was thorough and his initial diagnosis seems reasonable. His decision to delay a biopsy, in order to avoid an open wound during my upcoming surgery, was disappointing but clearly made with my well-being in mind - thank you Dr. Kim. He was considerate of my desire to understand and resolve the condition. He explained the possible outcomes of the biopsy, explained the procedure and success rate of the surgery, and scheduled a follow up visit for the earliest possible date. Dr. Kim provided good, thorough care in a friendly and understanding manner.
Everyone involved in my care was friendly and professional, way more so than what I have experienced elsewhere. The facility was not crowded and everything ran smoothly and on time. I have already recommended Kaiser Petaluma to 3 people based on my recent experiences with their Gastroenterology Women's Health/GYN departments.
Attempted to check in on line, but did not get usual text 30 min before appt time to verify in the bldg, though actual registration was quick. Pre-appt testing was quick and efficient. Dr was quite thorough and explained the results and made appropriate recommendations and followup. very satisfied!
Dr. King is professional, patient and thoughtful. He does not drop the ball or push aside symptoms... he considers the whole picture and is quick to recommend tests and specialists. I have never felt rushed which in this day and age is a miracle. Aside from being a good doctor he is kind and just seems to be a good person.
