Dr. Joseph Bettencourt, MD

My husband and I have been a patient of doctor bettencourt for over 6 years. As for me he saved my life. I was very sick and had been going to the emergency hospital for pain over 6 times. They had no idea what was wrong with me. I became a new patient of doctor bettencourt and the first visit he told me what was wrong with me and cured me. I had laid in bed for a 101 days and lost over 30 pounds. So yes he saved my life. Bettencourt and staff are awesome. If I call and leave a message they always get back to me. Best doctor and staff ever.

I have been a patient of "Dr. B" since 2006. What do I love about my family doctor? Let me count the ways. First of all, he listens, and he has helped me tremendously throughout the years. He hires great staff members with little turn over which to me speaks volumes. Dr. B's energy and good mood has always been infectious. I leave his office with a smile on my face. He knows his stuff, and in the old days, if he wasn't certain about something, he'd grab one of his books and look it up. Well, I certainly haven't seen him do this in over a decade. My point is that I find Dr B to be very authentic, honest, and filled with integrity. Most importantly, I TRUST him. So much, that despite my moving to Northern California, I will not change my doctor. I prefer to return to Paso to see Dr. B. Who else is going to give me excellent care and make me laugh like he does? Hummm....

I've been a patient of Dr. B's for about 8 years. He's very thorough, professional, personable, and his staff is great. Super clean and efficient office. General health and wellness to injuries- he's been there for me. Does a great job with conservative recommendations also, unlike many doctors...he takes the time.

The most unprofessional doctor I have ever encountered, will talk over you and belittle you at any opportunity he has. The office staff is just as bad. If you value your health find ANY other doctor.
